Decking or terrace board

It is made by modifying solid wood or wood-polymer composite (WPC). Real wood flooring is presented in single strip lamellas and is better known as 'garden parquet'. It is made from weather- and water-resistant wood species (larch, teak, ash, azobe, etc.). The products can be planed, heat-treated or pressed. In order to protect the decking from the destructive effects of water, the flooring is treated with antiseptic impregnations, water-repellent primers, finishing oils or waxes for terraces, enamels for outdoor work, etc. An alternative to solid wood are composite panels or modules made from a combination of wood powder and thermopolymeric bonding agents (polyethylene, polypropylene). The higher the amount of the first component, the higher the quality of the product. The relief surface of WPC is available in a fairly wide range of colours, and the decking board should be selected according to the load class.
